Visitors can learn about the history of lignite in central Germany or simply enjoy an exciting day in a unique atmosphere. The genesis of lignite is brought to life in a specially created lignite forest. The processing of lignite can be observed in the factory building. And an exhibition of stoves is on view in the building once containing the staff facilities. As a result, visitors to Hermann Mine can find out all about lignite – from its creation to its processing and its importance for the general public.
